ABOUT PAOLO

A Stronger Future for the District of North Vancouver

Paolo Pucci was born on October 4, 1956, in the small village of Greci, Italy. In 1977, he came to Canada with a small suitcase, $50 in his pocket and a dream of building a better future through hard work and determination.

His brother was already living in North Vancouver, and just months after arriving, Paolo married his wife, Maria. Nearly fifty years later, they remain happily married and are proud parents of two children and grandparents to four grandchildren.

Determined to create a better life for his family, Paolo founded his own construction company and spent the next forty years working tirelessly—often seven days a week. Through perseverance, honesty and dedication, he built a successful business and a strong foundation for the generations that followed.

Paolo’s journey is a story of immigration, family, hard work, entrepreneurship and community. He believes that with determination, common sense and the right opportunities, anything is possible.

Now, Paolo wants to give back to the community that gave him and his family the opportunity to build a better life. He is ready to bring his experience, strong work ethic and commitment to public service to the District of North Vancouver—working together to build a stronger community and a brighter future for the next generation.
